Build a watch record around the reference.
Two watches with the same collection name can have different cases, movements, dials or bracelets. Before comparing prices, make the record precise enough to tell your watch apart.
- Confirm the reference and configuration. Record the reference from reliable documentation where possible, then check case size, metal, dial and bracelet. A reference identifies a model; a serial number identifies an individual watch. Keep serial numbers and photographs of ownership documents private.
- Describe the watch you own. Note visible wear, known replacement parts, included links, box and papers. Keep service records with your documentation. Do not assume a photograph establishes authenticity or confirms the condition of the movement.
- Compare like with like. Check whether each listing describes the same reference and a comparable configuration. A dealer asking price for a complete set is different evidence from a completed sale of a watch without its accessories. Keep your purchase amount unchanged as estimates move.

Can my watch collection stay private?
Yes. You choose profile and closet visibility. Purchase price, receipts and private photos remain outside public closet projections.
